Another fantastic project completed by Green Earth Homes on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Our clients contracted Green Earth Homes to project manage and construct a 180m2 ModWood deck and renovate their living spaces.
This project was a great opportunity for our team to work with ModWood, a recycled product made from recycled timbers and plastics, as well as with bamboo which was laid as flooring throughout the renovated dining room, kitchen and lounge spaces.
Why did our clients choose ModWood for their extensive deck? Simple – they were looking for a product that looked very similar to timber however had very little maintenance. This product looks great and it comes without the hassle of staining or painting. While it may cost you more initially the long term investment far out ways the cost and it comes with a 10 year warranty.
The finished 180m2 ModWood deck looks amazing. Our clients are exceedingly happy with the result and are already stating that the size of the deck has allowed their family the flexibility of an outdoor space – it has really expanded their home.
In addition to the ModWood deck Green Earth Homes also project managed the renovation. Beautiful bamboo flooring was laid throughout the renovated living spaces and expansive windows were installed into the home to create a very open and light filled space.
